We have a particular interest and an advanced level of experience in Unicompartmental (Partial) Knee Replacements, forming the majority of our knee replacement practice. It is more technically demanding than a Total Knee Replacement, but offers a much quicker recovery, lowers risks, and a more naturally feeling knee. The majority of our partial knee replacements are carried out as a day case procedure, with patients walking out of hospital the same day. Through our rapid rehabilitation programme, the majority of our patients are back to their normal activities, independent and pain free, within a matter of weeks. The prosthesis used at The Knee Clinics has the highest data and results in the UK National Joint Registry.

Total Knee Replacement

We specialise in patients who have advanced levels of arthritis severely impacting their daily routines. Through modern techniques and evidence based prosthesis, we aim to get each patient walking comfortably the same day. We employ a dedicated enhanced recovery programme to enable our patients to return to their daily activities as quickly, and as comfortably as possible. We would aim for our patients to carry out activities such as cycling and swimming within a matter of weeks from surgery.

Ligament Reconstruction

Private Consultant Orthopaedic Knee Surgeon London Khalid Al-Dadah

At The Knee Clinics, we routinely manage athletes and sportsmen with acute ligament injuries. The commonest injury is the Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) and have adapted modern techniques to optimise surgical outcomes. Meniscal Injuries

The Meniscus is the shock absorbing cushion within the knee, of which there are two in each knee. Meniscal tears are some of the commonest knee pathologies we see, and can be debilitating to even the fittest of people. We have advanced key-hole surgical techniques to address meniscal tears, and we aim to preserve and repair meniscal tears where possible. It is common to have a concomitant ligament injury, and this will also be investigated thoroughly at The Knee Clinics.
